Floating through Life is created by Louise Croombs and Sarah Burton who met doing a fire walk for charity. At first, Sarah joined Louise on her radio show for a weekly chat helping listeners with the difficulties of modern life, but they wanted to do more so they created Floating Through Life, a podcast and blog, that explores how to live the best possible version of you.
Some people seem able to glide through life with little problems but for most people life can be hard and challenging, even those who glide can be like a swan frantically paddling under the surface.
We meet each week on a boat called Tony May which sits and sails around the North of England. The canal system across England was built to transport goods and materials and uses a system of locks to change levels. We see the locks as a metaphor for the problems that we all face as we journey through life. Join us as we try and live life one lock at a time.
Louise Croombs is a Creative Arts Therapist, Speaker, Radio Presenter and founder of Autie Talk. a podcast about autism.
